Sub-Zero Specialist Material: Polargrade PVC is the specialist PVC for freezer use. It contains extra plasticiser to stop the PVC going stiff and brittle at sub-zero temperatures. This makes it essential for refrigerated vehicles where standard PVC would become brittle and fail, potentially causing safety hazards and energy loss.

Important Note: If hung in warmer locations the extra plasticiser can make the PVC feel 'sticky' which can make a curtain more difficult to pass through. Polargrade should only be used in sub-zero refrigerated environments.

💡 Hanging Tip

Strips are supplied rolled-up. When first hung, this may result in the base curling upwards slightly. This residual curl will naturally fall out given time (may take longer in cold conditions).

Quick fix: Before hanging, unroll and leave to flatten out overnight. If not practical, try reverse rolling the strips or applying gentle heat.
