About FlyMesh Insect Strips
Effective & Hygienic Insect Exclusion: Black mesh insect strips are an effective and hygienic way to exclude flying insects from areas that need to be kept bug free. The 1mm square holes keep out the smallest of airborne insects but still allow ample fresh air to pass through for ventilation.
Antimicrobial Protection: Includes Microban antimicrobial additives providing bacteria and fungal resistance (ASTM E 2180 and ASTM G21 certified). This makes them ideal for food processing, commercial kitchens, and healthcare facilities where hygiene is critical.
Important Note: Strips are stitched around their edges so cannot be trimmed shorter after being made as PVC strips can. Please ensure you order the correct height for your application.

💡 Hanging Tip
Strips are supplied folded and boxed. When first hung, slight creases may be evident in the mesh. These should naturally fall out given time.
Note: Unlike PVC strips, mesh strips cannot be trimmed due to stitched edges. Order the correct height for your application.
⏱️ Product Longevity
Mesh strip is a consumable product with lifespan dictated by usage environment and traffic volume. For maximum durability, fit curtains internally where they have shelter. If fitted outside, fully exposed to elements day and night, they can deteriorate more quickly. Some customers replace strips annually, others maintain the same for many years in protected environments.
